Sequins and Petals started in 2014 as a company that made Gift Hampers, Diaper Cakes and a host of other gift wrapping and embellishing services. The foray into paper flowers and Backdrops started in January 2017 and what a beautiful adventure it continues to be.
The journey into Sequins and Petals started with a desire to change the way the way gifting and events are viewed each gift or event should be viewed as a work of art.
The foray into paper flowers started in January 2017, the vision was to create a gift topper for our gifts that created a wow factor but enquiries started to come in for centre pieces , Backdrops and selfie frames our range a reach therefore continued to expand and grow . The expansion was born out of a desire to add a wow factor to gifts and to events requiring the presentation of gifts. As you can imagine things have evolved considerably. As samples of our work were posted on Instagram and other outlets, enquires and requests for event decorations, backdrops and even wall art started trickling in.
It’s all very exciting and we’ve had to learn so much in a relatively short space of time. We continue to learn and grow.
It seemed like a natural progression to also produce a course site to teach the skills that we have learn over the last few years.
